Power Casual or Hot Vax Summer. What’s Your Style?

According to a recent survey from the American Psychological Association, 42% of U.S. adults have reported an undesired weight gain since the start of the pandemic, putting on an average of 29 pounds. That means that more than 6 in 10 adults (61%) have reported undesirable change in weight since the start of COVID-19.

Now that protocols are being lifted and people are getting back to work and returning to social activities, they are looking for something new and stylish. Top brands of clothing highly sought after- that used to be top sellers, called ‘work ready’ are being replaced by ‘liberated’ and ‘optimistic’ styles.

Age isn’t a deterrent in this style, nor is weather!  Rent The Runway claims that women 35 and over are reaching for crop tops there times as much as they were in 2019.

Another new category is power casual! Are you a dresser-upper or a dresser-downer?  Your answer might say alot about what clothing could mean to you in the future. With many venues opening to indoor activities and dining that requires advance reservations, we may have to upgrade our wardrobes from elastic waistbands. What are you taking to the outside world?
