Meet Tara Regan
Tara Regan is a seasoned nonprofit executive with more than 15 years of experience driving strategic growth, building mission-aligned partnerships, and securing transformational funding for organizations serving Northeast Ohio’s most vulnerable communities.
As Director of Philanthropy and Secretary to the Board at The McGregor Foundation, Tara oversees the foundation’s grantmaking portfolio and board governance, aligning funding strategy with community impact.
She holds a master’s degree in English from The University of Akron and a bachelor’s degree from Western Kentucky University. Her career also includes leadership roles at Planned Parenthood of Greater Ohio, ACCESS, Inc., and the Akron Urban League, where she consistently advanced mission, revenue, and visibility.
A lifelong resident of the Akron area, Tara enjoys biking with her daughter, reading, and scouting out the best bakeries in Northeast Ohio.
