Catching ourselves spending too much time on our cell phones is a common problem most of us face. Let this blog post be a reminder to unplug and disconnect from our screens. It used to be normal to “hang up the phone”. Today, our phones never leave our side.
Try and do one thing a day without bringing your phone with you. It is healthy for our minds to slow down and be bored once in a while. There are always activities to stimulate our brains. Spending too much time on our phones could have negative consequences. It also contributes to mental health issues like anxiety and depression. This is why it is important to recognize and discipline ourselves with abundant technology usage.
