McGregor Foundation Recognized for PACE Expansion in Elyria
Elyria, OH – March 17, 2026 – The McGregor Foundation was formally honored by Mayor Kevin Brubaker during the Elyria ‘State of the City’ address on Tuesday, March 17th, in recognition of its remarkable contributions and commitment to the community and was presented a key to the city.

During the ceremony, Mayor Brubaker praised the Foundation for its vision and leadership in expanding the McGregor PACE program in Elyria. This milestone includes the opening of a new 20,000 square foot Adult Day Health Center in Elyria, which commenced operations in November 2025. The facility represents a significant investment in the health and well-being of older adults, offering comprehensive support and services to eligible participants throughout Lorain County.
The McGregor PACE program is designed to assist seniors in maintaining independence and quality of life by providing access to medical care, social activities, and daily living support. The new Adult Day Health Center, now fully operational, serves as a hub for these services, helping hundreds of individuals and families across the region.
