Just a few weeks ago, Lake Erie earned national recognition after being voted the #1 Best Lake in the country in the USA TODAY 10 Best Readers’ Choice Awards. This distinction highlights not only the lake’s natural beauty, but also the important role it plays in the Cleveland community and throughout Northeast Ohio.
From peaceful walks along the waterfront to stunning sunsets, sandy beaches, and opportunities for fishing and boating, Lake Erie offers something for everyone. Stretching as far as the eye can see, it often feels more like an ocean than a lake. It’s easy to see why so many people voted it the nation’s favorite lake.
Here at McGregor, we are fortunate enough to be just a short drive away from this incredible landmark. This recognition serves as a wonderful reminder to appreciate the beauty that’s right in our own backyard and never take this Northeast Ohio treasure for granted.
