“Good Morning” at McGregor

There is a small moment that happens every morning at McGregor that never goes unnoticed.

As you walk through the building, you are greeted.

A simple “good morning” from every person passing by. A smile from a team member starting their day. A friendly hello from a resident or colleague in the hallway.

It may seem like a small thing, but it happens so often that it has become one of the first things you notice when you are here.

In a place built around caring for others, it is meaningful to see that same sense of care extends into the everyday moments between people. The greetings are not grand gestures, and they are not something anyone does for recognition. They are simply a reflection of the people who make McGregor what it is.

Everyone who walks through the doors is acknowledged. Everyone is welcomed.

It is a reminder that community is not only built through programs, services, or major milestones. Sometimes, it is built through the little things we do every day — taking a moment to say hello, recognizing someone as you pass, and making another person feel seen.

At McGregor, the day often begins with a simple “good morning.” And in its own quiet way, that says a lot.
