Over the last several months, we can hear the sound of progress from our open windows at McGregor! It has been exciting to watch as the construction crews work diligently to get the roof on our new affordable independent living building before a chill is in the air. We hope to see the rooftop on the building before that four letter word (SNOW) that we all dread blows into northeast Cleveland! Growth of our organization is about being progressive and adding new life to our campus!
We are excited to share that the trusses are going up on the new building. “It is a wonderful sight to see the building taking shape,” shared Ann Conn, CEO, McGregor.
It’s worth noting the definition of ‘trusses’… which are the triangular webbing of structural pieces not only provide support for the roof, but they also tie the outside walls of the home together. This will be the new home for 54 residents on McGregor’s campus in the Fall of 2023! Stay tuned for more excitement as our progress continues!
