Announcing a new resource coming to Lorain County
As many of us heard yesterday at the countywide Strategic Action Plan pillar discussion, housing continues to emerge as a growing challenge throughout our community. Yet, as we also learned, there are exciting and innovative opportunities to come together and have lasting impact.
In the spirit of learning, collaboration, community building and engagement – we are announcing a community conversation and update around the expansion of the PACE program in Lorain County. These programs are aimed at enhancing the lives of older adults and the significant positive impact it will provide for communities.
The Cleveland-based nonprofit, McGregor Foundation, is actively planning to open a new PACE (Program for All-inclusive Care for the Elderly) facility in Elyria
Stay tuned as a temporary facility is opening in the Wesleyan Village in July 2024, until the permanent PACE Adult Day Health Center is completed in early 2025.
