Hospice of Greater Cleveland proudly hosted a Volunteer Appreciation Luncheon on April 14th from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM to honor the dedicated individuals who generously give their time, compassion and support to hospice patients and families.
The event was hosted by Chaplain John Malone, with heartfelt words of appreciation shared by Hospice Administrator Raschanda Jackson. Volunteers were recognized for the invaluable comfort, companionship, and care they provide throughout the hospice journey.

As a token of gratitude, each volunteer also received a special gift.
One of the most meaningful moments of the afternoon was hearing volunteers share what inspired them to become involved in hospice care. Their stories reflected compassion, purpose, and a deep commitment to serving others during some of life’s most important moments.
Hospice of Greater Cleveland offers many meaningful volunteer opportunities for those looking to make a difference in the community. Volunteer roles may include administrative support in the office, crocheting or knitting blankets for patients, playing music, providing companionship, and other supportive services.
