Cleveland residents facing legal questions will have two opportunities in the month of June to receive free guidance from attorneys and legal professionals through upcoming community clinics hosted by The Legal Aid Society of Cleveland.
The free legal advice clinics, taking place at two Cleveland Public Libraries, are designed to help individuals and families navigate a wide range of civil legal issues, from housing and consumer rights to family matters, employment concerns, education, healthcare access, safety, and financial challenges.
The first clinic will be held on Saturday, June 6, at the Cleveland Public Library – Langston Hughes Campus. Check-in and intake will run from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m.
A second clinic is scheduled for Thursday, June 16, at the Cleveland Public Library – Main Branch, Stokes Wing, with check-in and intake from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m.
Volunteer attorneys and Legal Aid staff will meet one-on-one with attendees to answer questions and provide guidance on civil legal matters. Clinics operate on a first-come, first-served basis, and no reservations are required.
For many residents, access to reliable legal information can make the difference between stability and crisis. Organizers say the clinics are intended to remove barriers and connect people with trusted legal support in welcoming neighborhood spaces.
Community members interested in attending can learn more about what to expect from the clinics through Legal Aid’s official website. The McGregor Foundation is a proud supporter of The Cleveland Legal Aid Society.
