During National CPR and AED Awareness Week, McGregor wants to highlight the importance of both of these trainings and encourage community members to become certified in these lifesaving skills.

CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation) is used when someone’s heart stops beating, helping to maintain blood flow until emergency responders arrive. When paired with an AED (automated external defibrillator), CPR can greatly increase survival during sudden cardiac arrest.
These are skills everyone can learn, not just healthcare professionals. Emergencies can happen anywhere, and knowing how to respond in those critical first minutes can make a life-saving difference for a loved one, neighbor, coworker or resident in care.
Here at McGregor, we value preparedness, education and safety as key parts of supporting healthy aging and strong communities. Becoming CPR certified builds confidence and helps create a safer environment for everyone. To become certified, click the link below.
