Cleveland Rocks in August Festivals – Here’s What’s in Store! Think summer is almost over? Not so fast. August is packed with festivals across Greater Cleveland, offering plenty of reasons to squeeze every last drop out of the season.

Football fans can kick things off at the Pro Football Hall of Fame Enshrinement Festival in Canton (July 31-Aug. 9), where hundreds of thousands gather to celebrate the game’s newest legends.

Wine lovers can head to Kirtland for the Vintage Ohio Wine Festival, featuring tastings from more than 20 Ohio wineries and plenty of local food.

The Twins Days Festival in Twinsburg brings together thousands of twins and multiples from around the world for parades, contests and family-friendly fun.

For a taste of tradition, the Cuyahoga County Fair offers carnival rides, livestock exhibits, live entertainment and all the fried fair food you can handle.

Little Italy’s Feast of the Assumption (Aug. 13-16) serves up authentic Italian food, music and cultural traditions, while the Cleveland Garlic Festival fills Shaker Square with flavorful dishes, chef demonstrations and local vendors.

The month wraps up with One World Day in the Cleveland Cultural Gardens, celebrating the city’s rich cultural diversity through food, music and a colorful Parade of Nations.
