October is a special time to recognize the vital work of case managers and the difference they make in the lives of individuals, families and communities. Sponsored by the Case Management Society of America (CMSA), National Case Management Week is October 11–17.
In 2026, CMSA is changing the week-long celebration into a month-long celebration focused on four important ideas: Reconnect, Recognize, Reignite and Rise. It is an opportunity to reconnect with the purpose behind case management, recognize the impact of the profession, reignite passion and connections, and rise together toward the future. At McGregor, case management is an essential part of caring for older adults. Our teams help residents, participants and families navigate the many decisions that come with aging and changing needs. Case managers connect people with resources, coordinate services, advocate for individuals and help ensure that care is centered around each person’s goals, dignity and quality of life.
That mission closely reflects McGregor’s commitment to serving older adults across Northeast Ohio through a continuum of services and supports.
National Case Management Week began as an effort to advance and strengthen the profession, with the annual celebration eventually established during the second full week of October.
At McGregor, we are grateful for the case managers and care professionals who help older adults live with dignity, compassion and connection – during National Case Management Week and throughout the entire year.
