National Healthcare Food Service Week is October 1-7, 2023. Dietary professionals play an integral role in helping staff and patients stay well nourished and healthy. These heroes continue to rise to daily challenges to take care of others’ needs and bring nutrition to the forefront in every meal.
In 1989, Congress officially recognized the first full week of October as Healthcare Foodservice Workers Week. During this weeklong celebration, we take the time to celebrate the dedicated professionals who are the key ingredient in delivering nutrition excellence to patients and residents!
