McGregor receives Impact Award

August 26- Columbus, Ohio, LeadingAge Ohio Conference Annual Award Recognition

The McGregor Foundation is honored to receive the LeadingAge Ohio Impact Award, a recognition that reflects our deep-rooted commitment to enhancing the lives of older adults through high-quality care, forward-thinking programs, and strong community partnerships.

At the core of our work is a vibrant and intentional Culture and Values system built on respect, community, trust, and impact. We are proud to have been named a recipient of the World’s Best Culture designation by Drive, a distinction that underscores our focus on fostering an empowered, inclusive workplace where purpose-driven leadership thrives.

Our dedication to workforce development is reflected in the McGregor Leadership Academy, now in its fourth year, which invests in the growth of emerging leaders who are shaping the future of aging services. In tandem, our Elevate program provides needed tools for individual contributors to build leadership skills as we remain committed to internal promotion when possible, helping to build a pipeline of skilled, passionate leaders.

Beyond care and workforce, advocacy remains a cornerstone of McGregor’s mission. Our advocacy efforts have been especially impactful in leading the charge for the expansion of the PACE (Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly) model across Ohio. Through collaborative work with nonprofit partners and consistent engagement with policymakers, McGregor helped build vital awareness of PACE and its benefits—resulting in the program’s expansion to nine additional counties across the state.

Thank you for the recognition as we work towards the purpose of promoting individual choice by providing options, guidance and support along life’s journey.
