There are some sounds that never go out of style, and on July 1st, the Cleveland TOPS Swing Band returned to McGregor for the first time in six years.
Performing as part of America’s 250th anniversary, the band filled the room with timeless swing favorites and patriotic classics that had everyone in the room clapping and swaying.
The Cleveland TOPS Swing Band, short for Tough Old Pros, is made up of seasoned musicians who have entertained audiences throughout Northeast Ohio for decades. Adding to the excitement was enthusiastic lead vocalist Larry “Patch” Paciorek, whose engaging stage presence helped make the afternoon even more memorable.
Live music has a unique way of bringing people together, sparking memories and creating moments of connection. The band’s return did just that, filling McGregor’s hallways with joy, laughter and the timeless sounds of swing.
After six years, it was a pleasure to welcome the Cleveland TOPS Swing Band back to McGregor. Their performance made our America’s 250th celebration even more special, and we hope it won’t be another six years before they return.
