Ryan Eisenhuth, one of McGregor’s Marketing and Communications Interns, assisted our Chief Marketing Officer and our Director of Philanthropy in telling McGregor’s story this summer.
Throughout the course of his internship, Ryan worked on a variety of marketing projects on behalf of McGregor. A few highlights include producing a new “Welcome to McGregor” video to be shown to new employees during orientation, attending events to take pictures for the McGregor website, interviewing residents to write “Senior Spotlight” posts, creating a presentation for the marketing team on improving public speaking skills, and completing a competitive analysis that was used to help determine organizational marketing strategies. Ryan additionally wrote many social media posts, blogs, and articles, one of which was published in Northeast Ohio Boomer magazine.
Ryan is a rising senior at Geneva College in Pennsylvania, where he studies Communication, Integrated Media Production, Public Relations, and Business Administration. Following his graduation, Ryan plans on beginning a career in public relations or marketing and attending graduate school to continue learning about his discipline.
Ryan believes that his experience at McGregor was extremely valuable to pursuing these goals. He says, “by working so closely with the marketing team at McGregor on a variety of projects, I have not only learned how to complete the tasks of a marketer, but how to think like a marketer. No matter where I end up, the lessons I have learned at McGregor have prepared me for a meaningful and impactful career in marketing and communication.”
Thank you, Ryan, for choosing McGregor and for all your good work this summer. We wish you continued success as you finish school and begin your future career.
