Meet John Colla, new board member serving on the Finance Committee
John is a member of Clearstead’s Institutional Consulting Group and is a shareholder of the firm. As a Senior Managing Director, he provides strategic investment and financial advice to the firm’s clients, focusing primarily on Clearstead’s healthcare clients, and also works with other operating not-for-profits and foundations.
John is involved with both Clearstead’s Investment and Retirement Committees, serves as the firm’s healthcare practice leader, and is actively involved in many of the firm’s strategic initiatives. Along with his other responsibilities, John is a part of the firm’s institutional leadership team and spearheads Clearstead’s retirement business, a division within the firm’s institutional practice which oversees $15+ billion in assets.
John is a CFA Charterholder and holds a Certificate of Capital Markets from the University of North Carolina’s Kenan-Flagler Business School. He graduated summa cum laude with a master’s degree in Finance/Economics from Youngstown State University and earned a BA from Hiram College. He is a member of the CFA Society of Cleveland and on the Board of the Salvation Army, Cleveland Chapter.
Most recently, John joined the Board of Directors of McGregor Foundation, a prominent healthcare organization in the Cleveland area.
